The 21st China International Fair for Investment and Trade (hereinafter referred to as CIFIT) will be held on September 8 in Xiamen as scheduled. This year's CIFIT will focus on a series of issues, including the start of the 14th Five-Year Plan period, advancing Belt and Road cooperation in a solid manner, strengthening cooperation among BRICS countries and deepening multilateral and bilateral cooperation. It is expected to serve the establishment of the new development paradigm and boost the recovery and growth of the world economy. This fair will also witness a bunch of key events, including the FTZ site conference, the New Industrial Revolution Exhibition of BRICS Nations, the "Silk Road Shipping" International Cooperation Forum, the Cross-straits Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum, the "Belt & Road" High-level Development Forum, etc. The World Investment Report 2021 and other blockbuster policies will be released then. So far, the Organizing Committee has invited more than 200 governmental officials of a provincial level from other countries and senior management from Fortune 500 enterprises. It is expected that 800-odd delegations, 5,000-odd enterprises and over 100,000 visitors from more than 120 countries and regions will attend this CFIIT session online or offline.
