November 26 marked the centralized commencement of major projects of Fujian Province in the fourth quarter, 29 of which are in Xiamen with a total investment of 22.1 billion yuan. Among them, there are 9 industrial projects, 7 infrastructure projects and 13 social livelihood projects. Xiamen Intelligent Innovation Center, with the commencement site in Tong'an District, has a total investment of 4.2 billion yuan and a planned construction area of 475,000 square meters, focusing on the development of new-generation information technology and intelligent industries such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence and smart home. In addition to the 29 provincial-level projects, there are 78 municipal-level projects valued more than 20 million yuan in Xiamen in the fourth quarter, totaling an investment of 21.8 billion yuan.
