SABIC FUJIAN Project, with a total investment of 44.8 billion yuan, represents Fujian Province’s largest single foreign investment project to date. It is being developed by SABIC Fujian Petrochemical Co., Ltd., a joint venture between SABIC and Fujian Energy Petrochemical. On June 26, Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, in collaboration with Xiamen Municipal Health Commission and Xiamen Hospital of TCM, organized a distinctive English-language Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) promotion and free clinic service in Xiamen for Saudi experts working on the project. The event aimed to support the construction of major foreign investment projects in Fujian through TCM as a bridge, while enhancing international understanding and recognition of Chinese traditional medicine. It also sought to promote cultural and health cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia, further strengthening Xiamen’s reputation for a high-quality business environment and internationalized medical services. Attendees noted that Xiamen is a high-quality, inclusive, and open city, and that such tailored services made them feel the city’s genuine care for foreign enterprises. Going forward, Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce will continue to focus on the practical needs of foreign companies and expatriate talent, working closely with relevant departments to deliver enhanced services in areas such as healthcare, education, and daily convenience, thereby strengthening Xiamen’s appeal as a model international business destination.
