Xiamen adds new energy storage and transportation base

On June 22, the vessel "Lihua 16" smoothly docked at the Taidi Petrochemical Terminal in the Haicang Port Area of the Xiamen Pilot Free Trade Zone, marking the terminal's official entry into production and operation. This injects new momentum into the development of the Southeast International Shipping Center and the functional upgrade of the national port-type logistics hub. The terminal features a 50,000-tonne liquid chemical berth, with its hydraulic structure designed to accommodate 100,000-tonne vessels. The berth spans 280 meters in length and covers an area of 153,000 square meters. The supporting tank farm houses 27 oil and chemical product storage tanks, with a total capacity of 195,000 cubic meters. As a key component of the liquid bulk cargo layout in the Haicang Port Area, the terminal will strengthen Xiamen's large-scale oil transshipment capacity and help build a petrochemical distribution hub for Southwest Fujian.
