On June 13, the 18th Straits Forum was successfully held in Xiamen. As the largest and broadest non-governmental exchange event across the Taiwan Strait, this year's forum featured a wide range of activities centered on four key areas—grassroots communities, youth, culture, and the economy—with 33 events taking place in Xiamen. Xiamen continues to refine its supporting services to make living and development more convenient for Taiwan compatriots. Measures include setting up a "Near & Convenient" service zone for Taiwan compatriots at Wutong Wharf, introducing the "Xiamen Service Package for First-Time Taiwan Compatriots," and establishing a full-chain housing support mechanism for Taiwan compatriots coming to or residing in Xiamen.
