On June 3, Xiamen State-owned Capital Operation Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Xiamen with the renowned Chinese cultural and tourism IP, Aranya. The project will be developed on Jimei Island, located in the core hinterland of Maluan Bay New Town. Leveraging its dual locational advantages as a key hub for Xiamen's cross-island development strategy and a pivotal point for Xiamen-Zhangzhou integration, the island is positioned to become an internationally renowned benchmark for coastal cultural tourism resorts. Spanning approximately 80 hectares, the project targets Xiamen's youthful and dynamic consumer market. It aims to break away from the single-format model of traditional coastal tourism by integrating high-end resorts, culture and arts, coastal experiences, and trendy consumer scenes, striving to create a phenomenal new cultural tourism landmark along the southeastern coast. As a pioneer in domestic cultural tourism communities, Aranya has been developing and operating properties in this sector for thirteen years, with a cumulative development and operation scale exceeding 3.5 million square meters. Aranya further enhances urban vitality through its cultural IPs, with breakout cultural events such as the Aranya Theater Festival, Aranya Waves Film Festival, and Xiami Music & Arts Festival consistently gaining widespread popularity.
