On June 1, the main structure of the first phase of the Xiamen Airport Economic-Future Industry Science and Technology Park was completed and topped out. Located in the Xiamen Airport Economic Zone, the park has a total floor area of approximately 620,000 square meters, focusing on core industry clusters such as biomedicine, new energy, and new materials. As of now, over 90% of the main structure construction has been completed. The park is scheduled to be fully built by December 2026 and officially operational by June 2027. The park has already engaged with over 500 enterprises, with signed floor space exceeding 30,000 square meters, showing early signs of industrial clustering. Leveraging the global hub advantages of Xiang'an International Airport, expected to open by the end of 2026, and the research resources of Xiamen University's Xiang'an campus, which hosts 15 national-level scientific research platforms, the park has formed a unique "airport access + Xiamen University origin" advantage, building an efficient channel for enterprises to connect with global resources and accelerate technology transfer.
