Sports goods and equipment manufactured in Xiamen are setting sail and making their way to the global market. In the first quarter, Xiamen's total export value of sporting goods and equipment reached 2.16 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.0%, accounting for nearly 70% of Fujian Province's total sporting goods and equipment exports during the same period. Fitness equipment became the main export force, with treadmills exporting 320 million yuan in the first quarter, up 24.2% year-on-year, while other fitness and rehabilitation equipment exports reached 710 million yuan, up 3.8% year-on-year. Together, these two categories accounted for 47.7% of Xiamen's total sporting goods export value in the same period. Additionally, badminton rackets and similar rackets produced by Xiamen enterprises have gained global popularity due to their high quality and strong reputation, with exports reaching 110 million yuan in the same period, up 13.5% year-on-year.
