Recently, the Haicang District Government, CCRE Group, CP Industrial Capital, and Kangfen held a four-party signing ceremony, marking the successful establishment of Kangfen's global headquarters project in Xiamen's Haicang District. Kangfen is a biotech enterprise specializing in the resource utilization of food processing waste and by-products, as well as the research and development of degradation technologies. The Kangfen global headquarters project, now established in Xiamen, is primarily driven by the multinational giant CP Group, which boasts annual revenues exceeding $100 billion. With Kangfen's global headquarters settling in Xiamen, it will create a "global headquarters hub" integrating comprehensive management, global technology licensing, centralized sales of core equipment, and financial leasing services. The biomedicine industry is one of the strategic emerging sectors prioritized for cultivation and development in Xiamen, having been selected as one of the first national strategic emerging industry clusters in 2019. By the end of 2025, Xiamen was home to over 1,900 enterprises in the biomedicine and health sectors, including 732 national high-tech enterprises and 536 large-scale enterprises, forming a well-developed industrial ecosystem and innovation system.
