Recently, AmoyDx, a leading oncology companion diagnostics company from Xiamen, and Hutchmed, a leading biopharmaceutical company in China, jointly announced that AmoyDx's self-developed "Human c-Met Gene Amplification Detection Kit (Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization)" has received approval from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) as a companion diagnostic for savolitinib. The two companies will collaborate to promote integrated precision diagnosis and treatment, allowing more cancer patients to benefit. It is understood that this product is the world's first FISH (Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization) companion diagnostic reagent approved for MET gene amplification detection. Its approval represents a significant breakthrough in the field of precision diagnosis and treatment for MET-amplified non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), providing a highly reliable detection tool for the clinical precision screening of patients with MET gene amplification. It will precisely assist in clinically identifying patient populations suitable for targeted therapy.
