On January 8, under the supervision of Dongdu Customs (affiliated with Xiamen Customs), a batch of repaired medical equipment signal processing modules valued at approximately RMB 3.5 million smoothly departed from Xiangyu Comprehensive Bonded Zone for export. This milestone signifies that the cumulative import-export bonded maintenance value under China's pioneering "Global Bonded Maintenance for Medical Devices" project implemented in the Xiamen Free Trade Zone has surpassed RMB 10 million, reaching RMB 10,023,400. Launched in October 2024 at Plexus Electronics (Xiamen) Co., Ltd. within the Xiamen FTZ, this project leverages Xiangyu Comprehensive Bonded Zone's policy advantages to expand from "maintaining self-produced goods" to "serving global repairs," extending its business toward high-value-added segments of the global industrial chain. Through this initiative, the company can now perform testing, analysis, repair, and inspection on non-self-produced equipment, thereby integrating the entire industrial chain at relatively low costs to capture technological value and economic benefits. Having entered a phase of stable development, the project has received maintenance orders from six countries including Singapore and Mexico, with a cumulative import volume of 1,212 medical devices awaiting repair.
