Recently, the 2026 Global Ocean City (Xiamen) Food Expo (referred to as the “Expo”) launched its Metaverse Cloud Exhibition Hall. The offline exhibition of the Expo will be held from March 29 to 31, 2026, at the Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center, while the online Metaverse Cloud Exhibition Hall will provide 365-day, round-the-clock service, creating a new platform for efficient connection and deep integration within the global marine food industry. This year’s Expo will focus on the entire marine food industry chain, covering multiple sub-sectors such as pre-prepared cold-chain dishes, marine functional foods, traditional food ingredients, and fishery equipment. Through this platform, global innovations and quality achievements in the marine food sector will be showcased collectively in Xiamen. The Expo will host nearly 100 leading companies from the food industry for exhibition and procurement activities. Local industry cooperation organizations from Fujian province and from Xiamen city, along with overseas agencies, will bring approximately 200 professional buyers and 50 overseas procurement delegations, comprehensively facilitating efficient matching of supply and demand resources within the marine industry. In addition, the 2026 Global Ocean City Food Expo New Year Goods Festival will be held simultaneously on popular shopping streets in Xiamen and Beijing, creating a new “expo + consumption” model with online and offline synergy and multi-city simultaneous engagement.
