On December 4, a Shandong Airlines cargo aircraft, carrying a full load of nearly 18 tons of cross-border e-commerce goods, took off from Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport destined for the Philippines, a country participating in the Belt and Road Initiative. This marked the official launch of the Xiamen-Clark all-cargo route. The Clark Freeport Zone in the Philippines is one of the region's key economic and tourism centers. This route is scheduled to operate one round-trip flight per week, primarily transporting commodities such as clothing, footwear, and headwear. The launch of this new route not only expands Xiamen's air cargo channels directed towards ASEAN but also facilitates faster entry of "Made in Xiamen" products into the Southeast Asian market. Currently, Xiamen Airport operates 43 passenger and cargo routes, connecting to 24 countries and regions worldwide. Among these, there are 14 passenger routes and 6 cargo routes to countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative.
