The vessel COSCO ASIA docked smoothly at Xiamen Port's Hairun Terminal, marking the official launch of COSCO Shipping's new West South America Line 3 (WSA3). This new route is set to boost trade with a diverse range of high-value exports, including auto parts, construction ceramics, quartz and stone products, and baby care items. Operating on a weekly schedule, the route features 12 vessels and stops at several domestic and international ports, such as Hong Kong and Nansha. It connects with emerging markets on the west coast of South America and in Vietnam, enhancing Xiamen Port's shipping network. This development is expected to help businesses optimize their supply chains and expand foreign trade, injecting fresh momentum into the high-quality growth of Fujian Province's open economy.
