Recently, the 2025 cultural and tourism promotion conference on the 240-hour visa-free transit policy was held in Xiamen, during which six "premium inbound multi-destination tourism routes for Southwest Fujian" were unveiled. Attended by over 100 guests, including overseas travel agencies, airline representatives, inbound tour operators, and international tourists, the event showcased the diverse cultural appeal of Southwest Fujian. Anchored in the core policy of "240-hour visa-free transit," the conference intensively promoted tourism resources across Southwest Fujian's five cities. These six precisely scheduled routes align with the visa-free duration, spanning three thematic categories. The Southwest Fujian urban cluster encompasses Xiamen, Zhangzhou, Quanzhou, Longyan, and Sanming. Beyond serving as a showcase for regional cultural assets, this event advances inbound tourism services and deepens international exchanges. On-site, tourism authorities from the five cities engaged overseas travel agencies and airline representatives in in-depth exchanges on the convenience features and service guarantees of the "240-hour visa-free transit" policy, jointly exploring pathways to enhance inbound tourists' experience and satisfaction levels.
