On the first anniversary of Google Cross-border E-commerce Acceleration Center launching, the strategic upgrade of Google's cross-border e-commerce acceleration program was formally released in Xiamen on the 15th. Moving forward, the center will increase focus on AI empowerment to help export-oriented enterprises reduce costs, enhance efficiency, and boost global competitiveness. As the first offline support center under this program, it continually empowers Xiamen and neighboring regional e-commerce firms to expand internationally. Over the past year, the center hosted over 150 direct-to-consumer (DTC) training sessions. Google Cross-border E-commerce Acceleration Center is a key collaborative project developed in Xiamen. With overseas consumers increasingly favoring direct purchases via brand websites, the DTC model has become vital for global brand-building, profit growth, and sustainable expansion. To leverage this trend, Google launched its cross-border e-commerce acceleration program in 2024, establishing the inaugural acceleration center in Xiamen that October.
