On September 19, Tianma Microelectronics Co., Ltd. launched its premium OLED technology brand—"Tianma Genesis"—in Xiamen, highlighting three advantages: eye protection, clarity, and high refresh rate. The technology will soon feature in flagship smartphone screens. The "Tianma Genesis" originates from Xiamen Tianma Display Technology Co., Ltd.'s sixth-generation flexible AMOLED production line (codenamed "TM18 Factory") at Xiamen Torch Development Zone for High Technology Industries, bolstering the zone's competitive edge in emerging display industries and propelling high-end industry advancement. With this launch, the TM18 Factory has attracted industry attention. Covering 1,216 mu (approximately 113 football fields), it ranks among China's largest single-unit and the world's most advanced flexible AMOLED facilities, with a designed monthly capacity of 48,000 flexible display substrates. Xiamen is China's sole pilot city for the national optoelectronic display industry cluster. As its core hub, Xiamen Torch Development Zone for High Technology Industries has formed a complete industrial chain covering various emerging display technologies, hosting over 2,100 upstream and downstream enterprises, including TIANMA Microelectronics Co., Ltd., Xiamen Tianma Display Technology Co., Ltd., Xiamen Tianma Optoelectronics Co., Ltd., TPV Technology, AUO, TPK Holding, NEG, and San'an Optoelectronics.
