On August 21, Xiamen Torch Guangyu Marine High-Tech Industrial Development Equity Investment Fund Partnership (L.P.) (hereafter "Xiamen Marine High-Tech Industrial Development Fund"), led by Xiamen Torch Venture Capital Co., Ltd., completed registration with the Asset Management Association of China. With RMB 2 billion in total scale, this marks a critical step in Xiamen's marine economy strategy to build a blue economic engine. The fund will prioritize marine biomedicine, high-end equipment manufacturing, marine digital technology, and blue carbon economy sectors. By constructing a "capital + industry + technology" ecosystem, it will accelerate industrialization of marine scientific achievements, cultivate competitive marine tech enterprises, and establish Xiamen as a world-class marine industrial cluster.
