At the August 21 Xiamen-Longyan New Era Mountain-Sea Collaboration "Enclave Economy" Investment Promotion Conference in Xiamen, the two cities pioneered a "Xiamen R&D + Longyan Manufacturing" model. This synergizes Xiamen's talent, capital, and port advantages with Longyan's land, labor, and ecological strengths: enterprises enjoy Xiamen's free trade zone policies and academic resources while securing Longyan's industrial land and renewable energy. The newly inaugurated Xiamen-Longyan Mountain-Sea Collaborative Innovation Park, located in Xiamen Software Park Phase II with 6,000㎡ total area, will complete construction in two phases. Currently, 27 Longyan enterprises—including Zijin Mining, Longking, Super Tech, Qiao Long, Longhe Intelligent, Huaneng Electric, CNK, and Yisong Machinery—have established R&D centers with 731 researchers.
